Mr. Kenneth Szager, MAI, has been associated with Joseph J. Blake and Associates, Inc. since 2005, and currently holds the position of Partner at the Phoenix office. Mr. Szager began his career with the firm in the Los Angeles office in 2005. Mr. Szager was promoted to Director in 2017, and then later named partner.

Throughout his career, Mr. Szager has worked with various elite clients including various lending institutions, pension funds, insurance companies, REIT’s, government agencies, developers, investors as well as various other entities.

The majority of the real estate appraisal assignments having been performed throughout California and the Western United States. A large scope of his assignments includes multifamily, office, industrial, retail, special purpose properties and land.

A graduate of the University of Southern California, Mr. Szager received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. After graduation Mr. Szager worked in the oil and gas field for Unocal Corporation and later for Texaco Corporation. However, developing an interest in real estate, Mr. Szager pursued a Master’s degree in real estate from the University of Southern California School of Policy, Planning and Development. Shortly thereafter he began working at Joseph J. Blake and Associates, Inc.

Mr. Szager holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and is a state certified general real estate appraiser in both California and Arizona.
