Sean T. Almeida, MAI, is a Partner and Managing Director at Joseph J. Blake & Associates, Inc., leading the firm’s New England regional office in Boston. Since joining the firm in 2015, Sean has built a reputation for delivering clear, thoughtful valuations on complex commercial real estate assets while managing client relationships, overseeing appraisal production, mentoring staff, and ensuring quality across engagements.

Holding the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, Sean is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, and Virginia.

Sean’s valuation experience spans a broad range of property types, including office, retail, multifamily, industrial, hospitality, land, historic, and special-use properties across New England. He has provided appraisal and consulting services for banks, private equity, developers, trusts, insurers, and government agencies, and regularly prepares feasibility, marketability, and consulting analyses to support client decision-making.

Sean has also served as an expert witness in commercial real estate litigation in Boston, testifying on valuation issues and bringing clarity to complex disputes.

A graduate of The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration, Sean combines analytical rigor with practical insight, helping clients navigate the evolving commercial real estate landscape with confidence.
